Gene Therapy League

With Spark Therapeutics' gene therapy treatment for hemophilia on the horizon, their focus remains on educating patients and the hemophilia community about gene therapy. Teens are a crucial audience as they will increasingly participate in their treatment as they grow older. 

To draw them in, we developed the Gene Therapy League campaign idea that blends science, innovation, and imagination. Each superhero represents a key aspect of gene therapy, united by the goal of delivering a therapeutic gene into targeted cells to produce Factor VIII or IX protein for hemophilia patients. From virtual trading cards to the superheroes attending hemophilia conferences, this initiative has the power to help teens learn more about the potential of this groundbreaking approach in treatment.
